This is an exciting role for a highly motivated strategic thinker to enhance and manage ONRs’ integrated strategic and corporate planning and prioritisation framework with a focus on embedding and raising the profile of effective business planning in the organisation.
The role will be responsible for embedding an effective strategic and corporate planning framework for the organisation, ensuring systems and processes are in place for effective planning, translation of the strategic objectives at operational level and monitoring the implementation of strategic and business plans. We are looking for a talented individual with the ability to act independently, on their own initiative, who is confident and capable of working at pace.
About The Role
The role is suited to an experienced strategic planning manager who will be responsible for contributing to the development and provision of strong and effective corporate planning throughout the organisation with a key influence over corporate processes and practices and providing advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team. The role will involve instilling a professional, supportive and inclusive culture that emphasises a joined up ‘one-ONR’ approach to our annual and strategic planning activity that includes budgeting, workforce planning, change planning, performance reporting, Annual Report and Accounts, etc.
This is a key role for the organisation to provide cross-functional support and advice to the Head of Finance & Commercial and the Finance Director in co-ordinating the strategic, corporate and business planning activity across the organisation to ensure it is robust, timely and fit for purpose. The role will also support the implementation and embedding of workforce planning and prioritisation across the organisation.
This will necessitate working closely with all directorates, providing professional, exemplary and effective leadership, oversight, and support to the Senior Leadership Team and more widely across the organisation.
