Job Purpose

Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is responsible for all nuclear sector regulation across the UK. ONR's mission is to provide efficient and effective regulation of the nuclear industry, holding it to account on behalf of the public.

As a Regulatory Programme Manager in ONR, you will be responsible for providing programme management leadership and support to the Regulatory Divisions.  We have five Divisions within the Regulatory Directorate, all of whom are responsible for delivering diverse portfolios of regulation

About The Role

Principal Responsibilities

Working with the Divisional Management Team, you will be responsible for providing programme management leadership and support to the Regulatory Division. Working with partners and colleagues to assure that delivery of the Divisional and Directorate priorities are delivered to time, cost and quality.

You will need to be a strong communicator, able to understand and manage conflicting stakeholder requirements, manage expectations and escalate risks and issues as required. Above all else you will be the kind of person who can work in a team, act from their own initiative and make recommendations in the best interests of the Division and Directorate.
